Graham Davies was a member of the 1970''s cult rock band ''Blonde on Blonde'', their three albums are regarded as collectors items and have recently been released on CD.
Geoff Baker is a recognised songwriter, his compositions have attracted acclaim in the national music press.
Simon Wynn was recruited as a drummer, his credentials as one of the best local drummers include a support tour with Thin Lizzy when they were at the height of their success.

What the press said about The Rooster Brothers

'' The Rooster Brothers turned in an exultant set, tight, energetic and impassioned in their bluesy country style. Singer Robbie Fisher is a recognised, published songwriter, his song '' It''s not the end of the world galvanised the hall.'' ( Courtesy of The Bath Chronicle )

'' [ Fisher ] reached a peak of blues-world notoriety when Johnny Winter covered his'' Medicine man'', but his compositions are constantly attracting more big name American interest than those of almost any other British composer. Justifiably so too, since Robbie has a knack of peppering his tunes with brillant lyrical sleights of hand. Vocally Fisher totally convinces and Davies easily proves himself one of the UK''s best slide guitarists. (Courtesy of Blueprint magazine )

'' Fisher (guitar, vocals) and Davies (guitar/slide) display great whiskey soaked voices laid neatly on the rhythms of Geoff Baker ( bass ) and Simon Wynn (drums ). I believe the strength of The Roosters lies in their simplicity. They don''t try to be clever and therefore are allowed to show off their talents in an authentic country style. You certainly have something to crow about guys ! (Courtesy of Country music round up )

This Gloucestershire-based band really do take their music by the throat. It''s hard to categorise, with a mix of both blues and country plus a gritty swamp sound that puts one in m?nd of Creedence clearwater revival, especially with the growling vocal work. A highly impressive debut and a band well worth catching live '' ( Courtesy of Venue magazine )
